Kristy and Jackie began their work together as co-founders of an annual Culinary Nutrition Conference, starting with a small in person pilot conference in New York City in 2017. The conference was designed to bring the nation's top culinary nutritionists and chefs together to provide education for RDNs and other healthcare professionals on how to use innovative cooking techniques and ingredient combinations to enhance their impact as educators and food experts.
Due to overwhelming response from the nutrition community, the conference quickly grew and was converted to a virtual format in 2020, still maintaining the same agenda of culinary demonstrations and culinary nutrition lectures. Rebranded as the Culinary Nutrition Collaborative in 2021, Kristy and Jackie continue to partner with fellow culinary nutrition experts around the country to offer ongoing continuing education programs throughout the year, including an annual Summer conference as well as a series on global cuisines every Winter. The Culinary Nutrition Collaborative also recently partnered with Living Plate Rx to create a unique online cooking skills program for health, C.H.E.F.S., designed for both practitioners and their clients.
Lastly, Kristy and Jackie also offer project-based consulting services that leverage their expertise in culinary nutrition.
